
Soof Nikritin
FILM COMPOSER
Nikritin (b. 1993) is a composer and doublebass player based in the artist village of Ein Hod, Israel. His work focuses on original music for film, media, and multidisciplinary art collaborations.

Nikritin studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he specialized in both Classical Middle Eastern music and Classical European music.
In 2024, he completed an MA in Media Composition at the University of Chichester in England, further deepening his expertise in scoring for visual media.

Nikritin is a founding member of the folk-soul band Hayelala, with whom he has toured internationally, performing in Italy, Germany, Poland, Thailand, Slovenia, and more. He is also an active member of the Greek music ensemble Yanokies Taverna and the alternative folk band TheAngelcy.

Over the years, he has composed original music for art films, art exhibitions, commercials, dance works, and various multimedia projects. Most recently, he scored the feature film Salty Somewhat Spicy, marking a significant milestone in his cinematic work.
